Ryan Fox returns this week to defend his title. He won his first Rolex Series event 12 months ago after finishing ahead of home favourites Tyrrell Hatton and Aaron Rai. The victory helped give Fox a second consecutive top five finish on the Race to Dubai Rankings and earn him dual membership with the PGA TOUR. The New Zealander claimed three top tens this season in the U.S while not missing a cut in nine DP World Tour events. Rory McIlroy will also be in the field and looks to go one better than his second-place finish at the Amgen Irish Open last week. He’s managed two solo wins this year with victories at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour in January and the Wells Fargo Championship on the PGA TOUR in May. He also hasn’t finished outside the top ten in his last four appearances at the BMW PGA Championship. Tommy Fleetwood will also fancy his chances this week. He’s claimed seven top ten finishes this season including a 2T finish at the Olympics in Paris. The Englishman has never won at Wentworth, but this could be his year.
